Job title: Recruitment Coordinator

Immediate supervisor: Recruitment and Training Superintendent


 


OBJECTIVE :


The recruitment Coordinator should be able to manage our full recruitment cycle; She/He will be responsible for attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling, and conducting interviews and managing the hiring paperwork.


She/He should be able to undertake all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires. Recruitment Coordinator responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications and supporting hiring managers


TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :


Ensure that Recruitment Authorisation Forms are completed and approved as per the Recruitment Process

Assist with job advertisements and posting on relevant sites or in relevant publications.

Design and implement proactive sourcing strategies to deliver available, diverse, and qualified candidates.

Assist the Recruitment Superintendent with receiving and vetting all incoming applications.

Record and track recruitment status and update for all roles

Maintain an updated tracker and any other ad hoc reporting requirements.

Be the point of contact for all candidate initial queries and provide or find the solutions/answers as part of candidate care management.

Communicate and report to Perth HR and management team using the recruitment tracker.

Proactively drive the hiring process with clients and provide regular feedback on the status of recruiting activity and any challenges faced.

Assist with coordinating and scheduling interviews as and when required.

Assist with candidate care and follow up.

Ensure that all required documents as per the Procedure are completed and filed. To flag any deviation from the Procedure to the Recruitment Superintendent

Provide support for preparing position descriptions (e.g., research and archive, record, and update)

Ensure that every position (existing and new) has a current position description (reviewed/documented annually) and follow a record system with date of update and review.

Assist with compilation of all documentation to be recorded on file.

Assist with conducting reference checks & other due diligence requirements as and when required.

Assist with other recruitment related activities as directed by the Recruitment Superintendent

Editing of positions descriptions

Partner with Workforce Strategy leaders and Human Resource Team to identify openings, meet metrics goals and drive process improvements to achieve overall business objectives.

Communicate the availability of skill sets to clients and make recommendations on staffing plans to successfully fill staffing needs for program success.

Provide general administrative support for the wider Recruitment Team

When required, assist other HR team members with general administrative duties.

 


CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POSITION :

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :


 


Minimum 3+ years’ experience in white and blue-collar recruitment, selection, talent acquisition and mobilisation of mining workforces

Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages

Exposure to HRIS and Recruitment platforms (desirable)

Proven ability to leverage social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) for candidate outreach and top talent recruiting.

Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple searches/positions in a fast paced, high volume environment.

Detailed oriented with the ability to manage projects and develop strong candidate’s relationships.

Able to adapt, promote and champion change.

Ability to develop and execute recruiting strategies, including candidate management, non-traditional recruiting techniques and process management.
